  • i don't know. just like i don't know on average how many thin people i see in a day, or how many seniors i see in a day, or how many black, hispanic, or white people i see in a day. it's just not something i pay attention to when i'm out.

  • Even though my state is rated in the Top 10 for healthy people,I still see way too many obese and morbidly obese people when I am shopping or just walking around the area. Obesity is common. That's about 30-40 pounds overweight but it does depend on your height too. ANd morbidly obese? obese they have a hard time walking. It is hard to look depressing. I bet I see at least a dozen obese and one or two morbidly obese while grocery shopping. AND few using carts to drive up and down the aisles. Their bodies droop over the sides of the carts. Sad.

  • Well I can stand to lose 40 lbs,, so I guess I start everyday by seeing at least one (me)! Can I ask why you are asking this question? I live in Missouri and see alot of chubby people but rarely a morbidly obese person.

  • Kimigogo - Im also the one who asked about how many people you see at 6am. I was just wondering, based on some of the things I have read here, if Im in a bubble where I live. On any given day i will see 6-12 people working out at 6am on the 3 mile round trip to my grocery. There are work out classes in the park next to our elementary school and I will see up wards of 20 women (VERY fit women) working out mulitple times a week.

I see 1 obese person on my regular scheudle and maybe 2 people that could use to loose a couple pounds. I RARELY see heavy people here... but when somone posts about pant size, or height and weight on cm Im floored to see what people think is normal. So maybe MY normal is not other peoples normal.

btw... these "fit" people I see are all 40s - 60s
