How can I Get my husband to

Ok so my Husband can cook REALLY good, but chooses not to cook. I have told him i love his cooking but still he only cooks on my birthday. So how can I get him to cook more often?

  • Bribe him? IDK. Why won't he cook? Has he said? Mine likes to, he likes to experiment. But sometimes I take over the recipe, and he gets...not upset, but something like that. I did that with the Alfredo sauce. It's the best, if I say so myself. Now he won't make it at all.
    But, try bribing your hubby to cook, tell him if he cooks, you will make his fav dessert. See if that will work.

  • oh I have bribed him a ton of times. He says he perfers my cooking but I think it takes him FOREVER to cook like 4 hours to prep and make Enchaliadas, and when he cooks iam not aloud in the kitchen

  • stop cooking..eventually he will get hungry..then when he suggests takeout you should refuse!

  • oh i see, i like cooking too but t def gets old after awhile only since i have to clean it too
    maybe you can start by asking him if he feels like he needs a break with anything...hopefully he does say something, then you two can swap. you help him on mondays with what he needs a break on then he cooks for you on mondays...
    start small with just once a week then work your way up
    as you know, def start the conversation when things are GOOD
