Can your period stop on the copper IUD?

I was wondering bc my periods have been getting lighter and this month I seemed to have not had a period at all. Has anyone experienced this?

  • NOT AT ALL. with the paragard iud, the periods usually get heavier and longer.. I had mine for years and never missed, skipped or was late on any of my periods. If I were you, I'd make an appointment to get it checked out.
