  • She is a baby, she needs to wake, be fed, changed and held every few hours. 5 hours in a row of sleep IS considered sleeping through the night.

  • Some babies sleep more then others. You can't MAKE a baby sleep. My son was never a sleeper, he didn't sleep through the night (6+ hours) till he was at least 2. And he stopped taking naps at about 2.5. Before that he would only take 1 short nap a day and that was for a bout a year. Before that he would take 2 or 3. But he never slept like they tell you babies are supposed to.

  • beginning at 6 wks, we began to place our son in his crib straight outta the bassinet. when we did this, we'd give him his sucky, turn nice music on and shut the door-no light being he had his mobile. at 4 monthes, he was good to go, i kept and still do have him on a strict sleeping schedule. noon-nap, 8-bed. he gives me no fuss and it has been 2 yrs. he's given me a couple o problems of course all thoughout that time span, but i have no problem with him sleeping through the night. how about try giving her cereal with her milk, it acts a a filler and will keep her tummy full through her sleeping schedule.
