He is a cop and has a really hard time trusting people. His best friend from his childhood who was like a brother to him ended up being a child molester and ever since he found that out he doesn't hang out with ANYONE. I don't know what I would do with out my friends how can i help dh?

  • He can do it by himself. My husband hate if I say anything about him making friends. If you wanted to you could ask him how he feels about it but don't assume he needs them if really he doesn't care.

  • Some guys do not need a lot of friends. My sons said to my DH once "you don't have any friends, dad" and he said to them "who needs friends when I have your mother and you two?" He is perfectly happy. You might try going out with some other couples once in awhile, but he may be very content with you and your children. I am sorry about him losing his other friend.

  • I don't have friends. There is nothing you can do to help him have or make friends. It will have to happen his way on his time.
