  • Go buy a pregnancy test and see what it says or you can call and set up an appointment with your doctor and he'll do either a urine or blood test.

  • Normally doctors tell you to wait at least a week before testing. If you take the test now and it comes back negative your hormone levels probably aren't high enough, then wait a few more days, try again and see what the test says.

If it's still negative and you still haven't started, then give your doctor a call and set up an appointment.

  • Either go to the $ store and buy 2-3 tests or go to Target/Walmart and get a 2-3 pack of First Response Early Result.

Take one today. I think they work on like 98% of people who are 6 days late. If it comes back positive, you know. If it comes back negative, wait a day or 2 and try again in the morning. Continue until you get a positive or a period (stress cna make the period late too). If you don't get next month's period, then you can call your doctor.

It will cost between $2 and $10 to do this, and you will most likely know within a week for sure. Isn't it worth that amount for peace of mind?

In the meanwhile, of course consider yourself pregnant and take care. You can pick up some prenatal vitamins when you're at the store, can't hurt.
