How early after giving birth can i swim in a river?

not chlorine...are river cleaner?

  • I wouldn't until I was healed down there. Never know what's floating around in a river.

  • the same time they okay you to take a bath after giving birth.. around 6 weeks (obviously you can shower after giving birth but they don't want you sitting in bathwater )

  • watch a few episodes of river monsters and answer that question for yourself.

    in other words, never, stick to swimming pools.
    but if you do brave the giant fish with steak knife teeth, for the love of god don't risk your baby in there with that disease that goes around every summer

  • It depends what's in the river. If you have a tear, you don't want an infection down there. I'd ask the doctor.
