Anyone know what the difference between?

ant bites, spider bites and just mosquito bites is and what they look like? Thanks

  • IME spider bites have two tiny hole and are super painful not just itchy. Mine and the one time DS got one it was red adn inflamed around the risen area. And bites tend to have a little pustule like a bump with another tiny puss/fluid filled bump on it with in a few hours. Mosquito bites just itch and look like little risen areas on the skin.

  • Ant bites, no. I've never been bitten by an ant that I know of. Mosquito bites have one puncture wound. Spider bites have two puncture wounds.

  • Spider bites usually have a bigger reddened and raised spot. Ants you usually feel when bitten, or at least see. If you have itching, you can make a past of baking soda and water and put it on the area and it stops the itching. It doesn't look real great, but if you have any allergies, it's a safe home remedy (and much less expensive than say Calamine lotion).
