  • When my kids were that age it was 3 meals and 2 snacks. 4-6 oz of formula at each meal/snack.

  • My daughter just turned 1. I feed her small meals (snacks) 5-6 times a day.... as needed/wanted. She eats some fruit, yogurt, and then gets to have gerber snacks like puffs or cookies, and then she will drink 4oz of milk or formula after each meal. It is best to let your child decide when to eat and how much to eat.

really? SO you let your Lo dictate when the family eats or she just doesn't eat with the family?

My child also has 3 meals and 2 snacks and a bottle before bed. Breakfast was a 8 oz bottle and some fruit or toast, snack was small and cup of about 4 oz of formula, lunch was formula in a cup and meal, snack was juice or water and a small amount of food. Dinner was a meal and formula in a cup. Before bed she drank 6 oz in a bottle before we brushed her teeth. about 20-26 oz a day.

  • My 11 month old has 3 meals and 2 snacks/day. Her meals are small bites of whatever we are having, her snacks are usually fresh fruit or steamed veggies. She is getting 24 oz of formula, but that will be phased down to 16 oz of toddler formula over the next month (her ped has recommended us going to toddler formula instead of milk for 3-6 months because she's very tiny - 14 lbs now - and toddler formula has more calories than milk)
At 12 months, the recommended amount of formula/milk is 16 oz, plus one extra serving of dairy per day.
