  • "Bad" is subjective....

I would answer you that it would be safer to avoid it.
The chemicals might not be (too) harmful, but it will be best for baby to not be exposed at all.

    Best wishes!

  • I think maybe it might be bad for your hair, not the baby. Don't fry your hair. :o)

  • My OBGYN said not until the last trimester. So I am due in 3 weeks & just colored mine. I am a new woman! LOL! I also use Natural Instincts color & it's not a permanent dye which is better for your hair & you.

  • It's chemicals on the scalp--- skin that absorbs very easily!

Also, with hormones, they say we can take the color very differently.

How about a scarf, headband, or hat??

  • "How about a scarf, headband, or hat??"

it's a tad bit too hot for a hat or scarf :O but i have been wearing my hair up almost everyday anyway, its been 75+ lately and it feels way hotter than that too me haha

  • You should be okay to get it done...:) Try to choose the natural dyes, but talk to your doctor and explain what you want to have done and they should give you the okay hun :) Time for hats and bonnets are done :) Enjoy it!
