  • Oh yeah! Farmville, Frackville or whatever they call it, then "if you care, repost this" does that mean I a heartless SOB if i don't repost it, and then there are the inflammatory and downright degrading posts. People post thing wth words that don't hurt me but could hurt others I care about, "retard, lesbian fag, etc..." why should I subject me family and friends with that. And one more thing, one it is on the internet, it is forever.

  • Oh, yeah! There was one ex-coworker who posted status updates about 20 times a day. I just didn't wand to know that much about him. Now I only hear about him when other FB friends comment on his posts.

  • yes! The person I 'hid' kept posting anti-walker (political posts) and since I am not into politics I found it just easier to 'hide' her than have to scroll thru all her stupid posts to see my other friends stuff.

  • Yes I have and I'm sure some people have hidden me. I update on there quite a bit because sometimes thats the only way I can communicate with my husband.

  • yep, sure have. I also hide people who post religious & political crap. I really don't care to debate religion or politics on Facebook...too many friends & family members on there & it's usually offensive to someone.

  • yes! I hide people who are constantly complaining. I really don't care about "woh is me" posts.

  • Oh yeah. Some of my friends are just tooooo darn negative all the time. No matter what people say. So I had to stop seeing their posts. =[ Their friends and I have tried to help. I will add that lol.

  • Definitely. It gets annoying to read about a pity party every time I log on!
