  • When they tied them do you know if they cut them and then tied them or if they just but a knot in them? Because if they just knotted them there is a possibility that something squeezed through.

  • you should call your ob clinic and speak with a nurse because they will give u a more definite answer than people like me that have no experience .... but i have heard that iof they are tied then is possible to get pregnant but if your tubes were "burnt" then you couldnt get pregnant anymore !

or u can also wait few more days and take another pregnancy test :)

  • I actually know a couple people that got pregnant around 7 years after they had their tubes tied...Like PP said, call the clinic and ask a nurse.

  • Take a test...the longer your tubes have been tied, the greater chance there is of an unexpected pregnancy.

  • I have heard about women who had their tubes tied for so long time and ends up getting pregnant. Just wait a week or two more, and see if your period comes, if not then take few test more.

  • When tubes are tied during a c-section delivery, the doctor sometimes ties a ligament instead of the tube as there is one that's in the same area and looks like a tube. How old are you? You could be experiencing menopause - even if you're in your late 30's. See if there is a free clinic in your area. They should be able to rule out pregnancy at least.
