  • That big things come in small packages (baby)
    That big things come in small packages (diapers) LOL
    That I'd give my life for my child
    That if you don't stand up for them no one will... (schools are not always right or in the right)
    That you miss the sound of their baby cries and coos when they are older
    That picking moms special flower out of the garden when their not suppose to is a sign of love anyways and the dozen broken eggs means they where just trying to help out.
    That no sometimes means yes and yes sometimes means no.... baby code ya know.

  • That the parents are the experts on their children, no doctor, teacher or psychiatrist actually has all the answers.
    To research EVERYTHING regarding the children about what's going into their minds and bodies.
    That no two children are alike, even if they are from the same family.
    That each child teaches you something different about being a parent and you grow as they do.

  • It doesn't matter if I leave for the grocery store/park/work/anything 10 minutes later than I originally planned on...
    It is important to start and end each day with a hug, a kiss and an "I love you"
    there is no reason to pay full price for anything- ESPECIALLY kids toys and clothing
    I can love more than I ever knew existed
    having kids really is the best thing I've ever done with my life.

    That I can't STAND other people telling me how to raise my children

    That a 4 yr old can be a diva
    That you never stop needing your mother lol...anytime I don't know what to do I'm on the phone with my own mama lol

  • kids are resilient that has been the biggest thing I learned
    pick and choose the battles
    best way to control a tantrum is to walk away
    I never knew I could know such intense,unconditional love
    kids watch and listen more then you know

    babies get crazy if they don't nap
