My SO and I are on a "break"....

I still want our time apart to figure things out, but, I'm getting sexually frustrated and don't want to have sex with anyone else. He's been mine for 7 years and we have a kid so I'm still not interested in anyone else, but I want sex! Would it be bad to still do it even though we're supposed to be taking a break from each other? I know he'd go for it...I just don't know if it will confuse things because we really need the time.

  • It would definitely confuse things unless your relationship was based solely on sex, which it doesn't sound like. Nothing will change except you will be somewhat less sexually frustrated. Figure out what is going on/best for you besides being frustrated - your relationship with SO or whomever else you become involved with should you choose willl be that much richer/deeper. GL

  • I agree with the others- it will confuse things and make him think break time is over.
