Do you have your LO on a sleep schedule?

And if so.. how did you do it?

  • mine started on a every 3 hours they would be woken up to feed and then put back down...YES we woke 2 sleeping newborns to feed them, mainly for their health and weight gain but we still did it. Then....once we saw they were doing good, we moved it to every 4 hours. Yes, we woke them up every 4 hours. Then we fed them and let them sleep at night all night...by 3 months. The thing is you have to keep the schedule. Don't get away from it because it's easier because someone is visiting or whatever...you have time to change it later...and NEVER EVER EVER give you baby a bottle to get to sleep.

  • Yes, all 5 of mine were on a sleeping schedule by the time they were 2 months old. I started working on it from birth by setting a feeding schedule, once the feeding schedule was established, their sleeping schedule fell in line on its own.

  • My 6 mo old goes to bed at 8 every night and wakes up roughly between 9-9:30 every morning (with an occasional bottle at around 3, depending if he wakes up or not). How we did it? Schedule, schedule, schedule. and STICK TO IT. after a couple of days it just magically happens like clockwork.

  • My 11 month is in bed at 7:30, asleep by 8:00pm and wakes up around 6:30-7:00am. For his nap he goes down at 12:30 and is asleep from 1:00-2:00/3:00.
