Its too hard...

I'm 34 weeks, although, I think I might be farther a long. I've got a big ol' belly, and my hips feel as though they're broken.

I really want to clean, and I try very hard, but the past 2 weeks...I haven't wanted move. I did all the laundry and stuff, but...I can't vacuum, I can't clean the windows, or the desks, the dishes are almost impossible. I feel totally useless right now.

My husband does a lot, and I'm glad...every now and then he makes little stupid comments like I'm lazy, but I just remind him I'm pregnant and he should shut his face. He gets it, and hugs me.

Anyone else get this way towards the end?

  • Yes. You're fine and your husband sounds like a good guy in general. You are NOT lazy. It is a big job carrying around another person inside you, That is your main job right now. Relax--forget the dishes. Buy paper plates. Remember pregnancy is temporary.

  • My last two weeks I was in "nesting" stage where I had to have everything perfect, I was restless and constantly having to move. I used a dish and it was washed immediately. I washed all dd's baby clothes, blankets and everyting plus clothes dh and I had worn that day. We had a 3 bedroom 3 story house and I was up and down those stairs constantly! I couldn't rest even at night. But the few weeks before that I had no energy to move! You're almost there but I think it's a little longer than you're hoping for! Sounds like you have a good understanding man, mine was nothing like that. GL and enjoy you're little bundle when it comes :)

  • I'm 35 weeks and I've been like that for the last few weeks. It hurts to really do anything. I feel huge and uncomfortable and if I cant do it while I'm sitting then I dont usually do it. I feel so bad too because its my job and my husband works 12 hour days and then does things around here too. He use to make comments like but I talked to him and told him how it made me feel. He said he was sorry and only joking around but he would stop. So we'll see how it goes.

  • you are fine. It sucks towards the end but just try to relax...keep your baby in there as long as possible. The longer the better :) Your husband is just making playful jabs at you. It's annoying I'm sure (I have a dh that would do the same) but just let it go. Your baby will here soon :)

  • I am only 8 weeks and I feel that way now :( I feel like I can't get anything accomplished. I am exhausted and sick all of the time. I hope this ends soon so that I can start enjoying this process. You are close to the end, only a bit longer. Good luck!
