Do I call 911 or the police station for this?

My husband's truck was burgled. Do I call the police station or 911 for this? Sorry, I don't have a lot of experience with having to report crimes :(

  • Police Station. If it'snot an emergency, then don't bother the 911 dispatch.

  • Don't call 911. That is for life and death emergencies. Call the main number to the police department. They will dispatch an officer to come take a report. Sorry to hear about the burglary!!

  • You can call 911, just immediately ask for the dispatch or non-emergency, that your vehicle was broken into, and they will transfer you to the right person or give you a phone number.

  • Thanks! They don't open for another hour, but I'm guessing our stuff isn't getting any more stolen in the next hour lol.
