Can a baby get molars at 12m?

My daughter is acting like she is teething but worse. She screams all the time and when i put oragel on her gums she coms down a little but when her gums are swollen are in the back isnt that where you get molars?

  • YES! My son got his front four, then skipped all the rest and got his molars around 12 months. It was AWFUL, poor little guy. I was concerned about the rest of his teeth coming in right because they were all spaced out for a bit but once they were all in they look perfect now.

  • any baby can get any teeth at any time. Some kids skip teeth, some get more at one time.. but yeah it happens
