What made you choose natural labor/childbirth?

I chose it because I deeply wanted to have my kids naturally, an epidural was always out of the question for me and I wanted to be as strong as my grandmother and mother were.

  • Mostly: health and safety are the priority for me/my children.

Why add unnecessary risks when you don't have to?

  • I have a medical condition that prohibits me from having an epidural, so I had no choice.

  • It wasn't really a choice, lol, the epidural didn't work! And another baby came way too fast for me to get one.

  • I had natural childbirth with my first two kids. The third one I was induced and the pain was worse than I could take. I had an epidural with this one. I tell anyone who is pregnant to not get induced.
