Training books...?

i just adopted a lab mix puppy & want to train her but don't know which book to use to get the greatest effect...i have a dog who acts like a puppy who's semi-trained...who i'm still working with...but do any of you know of a good book that will help me train my pups?

  • I would start right here with Cesar Romero's site ...he may have books too, IDK....he has training dvds.
    His site may recommend some good books/dvds's
    but his tips are excellent and they do work!!

  • Puppy classes was the best thing I ever did as far as training. You have a professional to show you what to do step by step and show you what you're doing wrong. It also socializes your puppy with people and other dogs. You get much more from the experience than you do from the books.
