  • I wouldn't be going in to L&D just yet, but it might be very soon. How many weeks are you?

  • I wouldn't head to L&D, but make sure you're drinking enough water to compensate for the watery diarrhea. You may have lost only part of your mucus plug before, or it may have regenerated (common!) and you're losing the new one. Unless you're having labor contractions and/or your water has broken, don't head over there just yet. But definitely make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

  • Yeah, sounds like early signs of impending labor, but no reason to go in until the contractions are starting and regular, about 5 min apart and getting stronger. Just relax and get ready for the adventure of birth!! How exciting!!

  • Definitely wait it out, Hun! Good signs but nothing that's worth going to L and D for!

  • Just wait. All that is normal, but not active labor.

  • Call your dr and let them know your situation just in case your labor starts to progress quickly. Congratulations on your impending arrival:)

  • the mucus plug is nothing to even worry about (as pp said, it grows back). the runs are normal, but you will only be wasting your time to go into l&d before your contractions are regular and in a pattern for more than an hour. then you can call your ob and they will tell you how many min. apart for you to come in (usually 5 min.). gl...it will be soon!

  • The mucus plug can regenerate if you do not go into labor within 12 hours of losing it. I would not go into labor and delivery until you are having contractions and they are regular.
