Does any1 know some good exercises (for mommy) to do while holding your baby in the swimming pool?

  • Most all water aerobics can be done with your arms above water, so it'd be easy to convert them into mama-friendly exercises...

    Jogging in place or jumping jacks with baby in your arms.

    Baby on side of pool. Your arms on side of pool, pushing body/legs to surface in prone position then curling legs under and bringing them against the pool wall

  • I found that "dancing" with my son was a great workout. Just spinning slowly and walking laps. Bouncing up and down is great for the calves. Bouncing the child up and down is great for the arms. Pretty much just playing and continual movement will help you burn calories in the water.
