At what age did the training wheels come off and your kid rode a 2 wheeler

  • I have 3 girls and they each learned to ride a two wheeler at different ages. My oldest figured it out around 5, the middle child didn't figure it out until she was 9, and my youngest had it mastered at 4. However, my neighbors son was riding circles around my girls before he was even 3.

  • I took them off my dd's last summer she was 7, but she didn't have it down til the beginning of this summer, she's 8 now.

  • My oldest ds is 4 and he took his off about 2 weeks ago. He got it down pretty fast. My other ds is 3 and he barely understands the whole pedaling thing. They are all so different.

  • We took DD's off when she was 8. My twin sons still have them on their bikes at age 7.
