  • Might be mastitis. Take ibeprofen and call ur doc in the morning.

  • do they feel sore? if they just feel hot then it could be because of increased blood flow. you didn't mention any kind of pain or lumps so i am not thinking mastitis. (and take tylenol....not ibuprofen when you're pregnant). you should have a ob check sometime could discuss it then if it's just curiosity. if it's painful then i would call the ob and make a special trip for that.

  • Mine became hot AFTER delivery when milk started coming in... Maybe your milk production is early?

  • #1 Ibuprofen is consider to be quite dangerous in the last trimester of a pregnancy so you should NOT take it!

#2 It is very unlikely that you have mastitis before you have even began breastfeeding because your body is only producing a VERY small amount of colostrum at this point and unlikely to cause a block in a milk duct.

It is most likely from the extra blood flow as you get closer to delivery and your body prepares to breastfeed. If you are concerned call your doctor but it is most likely not anything to worry about.
