  • because in mst states at that age you get to decide who you want to live with maybe the child told the judge she wanted to live with her father for one reason or another.

  • WELL i AM NOT SURE iF THiS WiLL HELP NE.. BUUT MAYBE iF SHE SAiD SHE WANTS TO LiVE WiTH HER FATHER..
WE CURRENTLY HAVE CUSTODY OF MY BOYFRIENDS YOUNGER BROTHER AND SISTER AND WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER MINUS THE 2 WE HAEV CUSTODY OF WERE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSED WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT 10-11 YRS OLD. AND i AM THiNKiN THEY MiGHT FOR SOME REASON GiVE HIM CUSTODY.. i DONT KNOW IF SINCE HE NEVER DID NE THING TO HURT HIS OWN KIDS AND THE OBVIOUSLY WANT TO BE WITH HIM, THEY DONT SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. BUT HE SMOKES AND EVERYTHING IN FRONT OF EM.. AND i DONT THINK THAT IS RIGHT. SO WE CANT GO AGAINST WHAT THE COURTS MAY DO.. ALL WE CAN DO IS SIT BACK AND WAIT FOR THEM TO MAKE THE JUDGMENT.?

  • the only thing i can suggest is that the judges are dumb sometimes. thats why i really dont rely on the court system for that stuff.

  • maybe the child asked to live there. judges are human and can make mistakes. i would just go to another and ask for a modification to the current judgment. or ask to have it reviewed by another judge who may disagree with the decision although they rarely disagree with the first judges decision.

  • The same kind of judge that gives unfit mothers custody and totally rapes the fathers.
