How can a mom explain to her DH that watching violence movies is not right specially when children are watching too?

Do you know of any texts on the Bible that say anything about this issue. Thank you!

  • Hes a man, he should be able to watch whatever he wants when the children arent around but if you tell him not to watch it in front of the kids and he doesnt listen then he has no respect for you or your children.

  • If you are the mom than you are in charge of their health and you just say no, protect your kids.

  • I agree that you are in charge and that you need to set the standards,If your DH objects, explain that he watch his movies somewhere else. In my opinion, the Bible contains a lot of violence too so I wouldn't look for any backup there...LOL.
Just be a strong Mom! Good luck!

  • No bible is going to help you on this. You have to step up and be a parent. If he doesn't respect you on that then tell the kids you guys will do something else.
