Will tanning dry up or hurt my breast milk?

My son is 5 weeks old and I want to continue breast feeding.. I have been tanning and havn't noticed any difference yet but its only been 4 days.. does anyone know if tanning will dry up or hurt my milk?

  • Tanning is safe. It has no effect on your milk. =)

  • If your nipples are being exposed then it could dry them out making it a little more painful when you breastfeed.

  • It is just as dangerous as it is while not lactating. It will not dry up your milk or cause it to be unsuitable for baby.
