  • Yes, and since my grandmother made it, it was extra special.

  • I did. One of my husband's customers knitted my son a beautiful blanket as a baby gift. Just knowing how much work went into making it makes me appreciate it all the more.

  • Yes as long as it's made from really soft yarn & not stiff acrylic. I would love a sweater & hat set.

  • I personally do. I like the personal touch in a gift. it means a little more knowing someone spent their time making something hand made that you can't get anywhere else. my mom is a crocheting fool and has made several booties, sweaters, hats, and blankets for my DD. nothing says I love you like a hand made gift IMO. ;D

  • Yes - the blankets I received that were handmade mean as much to me as any of the more expensive gifts. I love knowing they put time into it rather than just money.

  • Yes, I have so many crocheted blankets that the women at my old church made for Faith when she was baby. They are all put away in a safe container for safe keeping.

I love handmade crocheted and knitted items.

  • The two items I have kept from the "baby time" happen to be a knitted baby blanket and a knitted baby garment. They are so soft and lovely.

    I LOVE them.
