Seizuring dog?

(sorry for spelling mistake) My roommates dog I think just had a seizure he started to shake uncontrollably I ran to him and it was over. Should I bring him to the vet or something? I'm worried about him...

  • yes you need to take him in, they have meds to help with that.

    My little yorkie started with shaking.....she is 13 1/2 years old.

    At the age of 12...I found out she has liver disease.....

    Please a t any sign of your pet ....any sign that they are acting different .....go to the vet...
    have them do blood work and anything else they request...

  • i would tell the room mate about this to see what she says, but this is usually an indication that something is wrong, and he should be seen by a vet.

  • 100% yes! If the dog is young, it could be the first signs of epilepsy which he will need to be medicated for. It can also be signs of other serious problems which will need immediate attention and can be fatal if left unchecked. Puppy needs a vet as soon as possible.

  • yes he could something wrong that could possibly kill him..my lab has seizures horribly and shes been on meds for about 2yrs..without them she wouldnt be here

  • give the dog water with karo syrup or even pancake syrup and that should be good until you take it in....my dog had seizures and googled it and found out it was low blood sugar and was told to give one of those 2 things...it won't hurt to try it
