Do you answer your door?

during the day if you know it is a salesperson, Jehovah Witness or anything of that sort? Or do you just ignore the doorbell or knocking?

  • I put a sign on our door that reads "I'm not buying what you're selling, so take your product, religion, or politics elsewhere." Most people pass us by, although somebody did knock the other day and my husband answered. He just pointed to the sign.

  • If my door is shut I will not answer it to someone like that if it is open I just tell them I am busy & not interested.

  • I'm guilty of locking the doors, turning down the tv and waiting quietly in my house till a salesperson or a church person leaves, lol. I hate to do that, I really do..but sometimes they come at the worst times..like when I just get out of the shower and have nothing but a towel on.ugh.

  • I would ignore it if my kids aren't home. I have a sign that says "work is in progress, pls do not disturb" ( i work at home and don't have time to stop)
