What is your best rewards credit card?

Okay, so we used to use a debit rewards, which was nixed because of recent legislation, so we are looking for a rewards credit card (cash back) that is great.

What is the best one you have seen, have used?

Posts anon if you like . . . I just need suggestions on which one to research.

  • I have two Associated Bank (owned by Citi) cards. They give cash back, and actually a lot of it. We've gotten back $225 in the last two months. It's anywhere from 1% to 3% usually, and they run specials through the year for higher rates on different types of stores. We just use it for everything to earn the cash back, and then pay it in full each month so we never pay any fees or interest.

  • I hate credit cards and have only one which happens to be a Disney card..we got it years ago. It basically paid for the trip we just took with our daughter. It's not a cash back but the only one I have.

  • Bank of America UPromise card. We don't have to invest the cash back into an educational IRA (our state requires a monthly minimum and hefty service charge) but can take it out as needed for college costs. It's purchased some textbooks and has gone toward tuition. Now that our oldest graduated, we're saving for our second born. With greater lead time he should be in somewhat better shape.
