(Breastfeeding Mom's) What age was your child 100% winged ?

So my ? is what age was your child completely off the boob? I'm a breastfeeding mom my child is almost 1yrs old and still 100% Breastfeed

  • I weaned my first at 15 months, my next three at a year, and my 5th child at 6 months.

  • Mine both lost interest at 13 months and stopped shortly after that. Looking back, I wish I had tried a little bit harder to go a few more months. I am happy though because I successfully breastfed them both through that first year and never offered either of them formula.

  • you say 100% still breastfeeds, he is eating food by now, right? because thats when you start to dwindle feedings down, when they progress on table food.

    At 12 months we went from 8-12 times a day dwindled down to about 2 times during the day for naps and overnight feedings probably 2.

    At 2 yrs down to 2 at night.

    I will wean him something before the fall of the year.

    However, I have went as long as 3 1/2 yrs with my DD.

    I was the one who started the weaning process (bc of pressure really)
    next time I wont do anything until age 2 atleaste unless they decide to wean their self!

  • 9 months, on his own
    9 months, on her own, with encouragement from me.

    He's now 7, she's now 4 and they're both big for their ages. We did do the toddler (9-whatever months) with both until they were a year old, then it was off to everything mom and dad had.

  • yes she's 100% breastfeed Ive Ben getting bashed from family & friends and WIC my Girl will be 1 In 4 day's seals her moth and wont eat she hats all baby food she refuses to eat anything except the boob her Doc Say's she's not ready back in the olden days all they did is BF also my daughter was born with teeth and now has all her teeth except back teeth
