  • Jacob is the #1 baby boy name now, so I'd personally avoid it. I'm not a fan of unusual spelling when it's pronounced the same. He will always have people mispelling it.

  • The spelling.....all I can look at is the "kob" part and it makes me think of corn on the cob. Corn on the Jay-kob. LOL! I don't think anyone will think you got it from Twilight....I mean, 10 years from now, people will likely not associate that name with that movie.
