  • A neonate is a newborn of 4 weeks old or less, therefore neonatal twins are newborn twins of 4 weeks old or less.

  • Neonatal just means "near birth" so they would be very young twins, premature or not. I am curious where you came across this term?

  • Thanks for the answers. I came across the term on something I was reading and in it it said something about neonatal twins. I have never heard this term before.
