Has any one ever taken a pregnancy test and first it showed negative and 10 to 20 minutes later show positive?

  • It's called an evaporation line. That's why the directions say not to read it after too long.

  • Yes, I had one that showed positive after 10 minutes. My doctor felt that I conceived that cycle but the embryo didn't implant.  HCG was there but low.

  • Yes as the one Mom said it is called an evaporation line. That is why they give you a window of time to read the test and then after that it is no longer advisable.

  • yes. the directions says it does that. if u were pregnant it would immediately show both lines.
