  • I can see taking a stand with you about his ex-wife, but not his kids. Sorry darlin, his kids should come before you. You're an a big girl. Those are his babies.

  • I am a Christian. We try our hardest to live according to the Bible, which says the husband clings to his wife forsaken all others. His children are 8 and 10 and sometimes can be very disrespectful.

  • He needs to step up if they are being disrespectful. NO child should be disrespectful to an adult, regardless of the relationship.

  • So she used to be his wife but he didn't cling to her, did he? Basically he forsook her for you, so he's a big old hypocrite, why should you expect him to do anything the Bible says?

  • first off he is never going to choose you over his kids, i wouldn't if the shoe were in the other foot. but he should have a talk with his children to let them know they should show you respect, they dont' have to like you, just show respect. afterall, you aren't their mother. maybe they are bitter about their parents not being together and feel you took their dad away from their mother. would you choose your husband over your own children?
