What are your favorite childrens' books/authors?

I want to expose my toddler to more artistic and thought provoking books. Currently she enjoys selections from the following authors: Maurice Sendak, David Weisner, and Audrey Wood. Does any one else have any unique books to recommend?

  • Have you heard of Usborne Children's Books? I am an Educational Consultant with them. I happened to stumble upon them on the internet. I fell in love with them right away and so did my children. I am a mother of 5. After ordering from them a few times, I became a consultant. Their books are fantastic. Besides books we also have learning materials, how to art, kits, music, cooking, etc. You can check out my online bookstore and see if there is anything that catches your eye - Let me know if you need any help.

  • We like the author Mo Willems, and Shel Silverstien, and we really like the Illustrator Preston McDaniels. His books are just gorgious. Take a look at All thing bright and beautiful, Now the day is over, and Earth and All stars. Those are just some of our favorites by him.
