Whats a safe sleep aid while pregnant?

im 24 weeks pregnant and im having trouble sleeping! i havent slept good in 2 nights and im really sluggish today its catching up with me! i have kids at home for the summer so its not like i can just nap! ive had plenty of people tell me certain ones are safe! which ones?

  • I agree with benadryl...I took children's benadryl (2 tsp) and that was enough for me

  • Ask your doctor. Mine told me a small glass of good red wine, or tylenol pm (the pm med is benadryl).

  • okay thanks everybody! i have 2 family members that work in labor and delivery and both say benedryl that it has the same make up as what a sleep aid would! my dr also said small glass of red wine! im not a wine drinker so what would you suggest?
