Shoot I made it too spicy!

I was making red beans and I used WAY to much Cajun seasoning, Is there a way to make it less spicy now? lol.

  • Peel 2 -3 large potatoes and mix them into your beans and simmer. Leave in for 1/2 hour, then taste and if it's still too spicy leave it in until your taste test tells you otherwise. Then remove the potatoes and serve. Potatoes are great for absorbing salt and spices when you've added too much!

  • Yep. Specialwingz beat me to it! It's good advice and has worked for me before.
