  • Oversimplified evidence they don't actually understand the arguments.

Your persecution complex is showing. I'm sorry you feel ill equipped to answer the question, or to comment on it beyond declaring war- neither of which cases invalidate it, or make it an attack :)

  • Really, though this is a statement meant to be an attack on non-believers. I find that to be quite terrible, as we are all entitled to our own-beliefs about the God, spirituality, and belief.

No one is attempting to take that from you. Factually, no one can.

The only attack that is taking place here is yours.

  • I think I have been unable to effectively communicate. I don't feel persecuted. I am a believer who is very supportive of believers and non-believers . . .

the statement, though, is not tolerant . . .

  • Have I just not had enough coffee today, or what? I don't see an attack. All gods are equally implausible to me for similar reasons. Maybe I'm not offended because I don't have a god to defend?

  • I am not offended at all, either. I was just pointing out what the suggestion of the statement is.

  • "the statement, though, is not tolerant . . ."

The statement is perfectly tolerant. I believe you may be a little confused about what that word actually means.

It isn't disrespectful either. It is a simple point for which I believed I may receive some quality interaction and counterpoints. Instead... I get you.
