I've heard that your second is usually bigger then your first

If your's was,how much bigger? My son was 6lb 9oz 20in

I know it varies if your next ones a different gender or if you have a health condition. They told me my asthma meds or just asthma(mine kind of a hard to control case) in general might result in smaller babies but I just can't help but wonder.

  • well i had my first one early, and the second was on time so i can not compare those two. my third one was ontime, and she was longer than her brother but weighed less. my mom had 2 girls (both ontime) and we weighed about the same....not a big difference.

  • I only have one child. He was born weighing 11 lbs and 10 oz. Hubby failed to mention that big babies run in his family. His grandmother had 5 kids and their birth weight was in this order 9 lbs, 10 lbs, 11 lbs, 12 lbs, 13 lbs (my Fil). So, yeah, after having a nearly 12 baby, I don't think I want a second child, lol.

  • My first was 9 lbs 8 oz, my second was 8 lbs 13 oz but she was born 1.5 weeks earlier than my first. Same sex, no known health conditions for me with either one.

  • My second was smaller than my first and then my third was bigger than the other two. They were all the same sex. It went 8lbs 9oz, 7 lbs 1 oz and then 9 lbs 4 oz.
