  • Thats what I was thinking...his cousin didnt stop wetting til she was 13 and was also taking medicine for it. I've always wondered what kind of medicine it was and if he needs to be put on something?

  • My step sister had that problem until she was thirteen. Her urethra wasn't open all of the way or something. I think the actual tube was narrow or something. Maybe he should see a urologist.

  • Some kids have smaller bladders, or immature bladder muscles, longer than others. Just get a waterproof pad, don't scold him, and wait it out, they all stop eventually.

  • Time to talk to your pedi about this. They should be able to give you some insight.

  • Do you make your child go to the bathroom before bed?

  • I know this is more common than I ever thought. I guess you could talk to his dr.

  • 7 is still in the normal age range for bed wetting, especially if he's a heavy sleeper. If he's still doing that at 12 or 13, then worry.
