  • I really like a Cosmopolitan. If you like drinks that are not too sweet and just a little bit tart, this is a good one for you. I will look up the ratios, if you like or you could search it, but it is:
    Cranberry juice
    vodka
    Gran Marnier (orange liquer)
    lime juice

I have a recipe for Wassail which is like a spiked, spiced apple cider. Of course there's eggnog with some rum or something similar. A White Russian would be good for Christmas it has milk or 1/2 and 1/2, vodka, and Kahlua (coffee liquer).

  • Peppermint Martini- 2 1/2 oz vodka (I like Stoli)
2 oz white creme de menthe
1/2 oz peppermint schnapps Put in shaker over ice. Strain. Enjoy. You can put a mini candy cane on the rim of the glass for a garnish.

Pepper Mint Martini- 3 oz Absolute pepper vodka
1 oz white creme de menthe
fresh mint Crush mint w/ back of spoon or a muddler. Put in shaker with liqour. Shake strain and enjoy.

  • Also, my signature drink ( I used to be a bartender) is wonderful.

    1 cup chocolate milk
    4oz jager
    4oz Godiva white choc liqour
    2 oz baileys irish creme

Put in shaker with ice. Strain. Put in chilled martini glass with chocolate syrup drizzled to side of glass. Should make 2-4 drinks depending on your glasses/

  • We always called it Christmas Milk. I always made it around this time of year. Hence the name. Not very creative but my friends just asked for it by that name. That brings up some good times.

  • Of course, the classic is egg nog with a 'boost': add a jigger of bourbon, cognac, or rum to egg nog. Or change it up a little by adding butterscotch schnapps.
