I bought paint for my bath and it is stark white,is there some way i can tone it down without buying more paint?

  • You could get a glaze to paint over it, or do a boarder, or hang some pictures, do a colorful backsplash and nice coutpnter top, a bright shower curtain, bright rugs and towels.... Depends on how much money you want to put into it.

  • If you have your reciept you can take it back and exchange it or have tjhem tint the white.

  • If you didn't put it all up and you got it from Lowes or Home Depot, give the paint department a call. Chances are that they won't charge you to bring it in and add some tint.

    If it is up, you are stuck with a glaze or new color . . .
