Good home remedy for removing ear wax?

My girls' have hard earwax. They will be going to the doc again in about a week or so but I wanted to help soften it up. Any ideas?

  • I drop about 2-3 drops of peroxide that is slightly warmed. Have them lay on their side for about 15 minutes. Flush the ear gently with tepid water with a bulb syringe. Clean the entrance with a qtip and then repeat on the other ear.

  • Ear wax candle.
My one son had frequent ear infections. The Dr. would take warm sapy water and put it in the ear with a dropper and suction it out. He would get out all kinds of wax.

  • Huge problem with my boys. My doctor told me to use Debrox. I got it at WalMart for $5, I believe. Also told me to use a "booger sucker" while in the bath tub and flush the ear with warm soapy water while taking a bath.
