Does it bother you if someone on here calls you hun or sweetie

or any other name like that, it bugs me cuz yall don't know me! im not a hun or a sweety, plus i take it like your talking down to the person. 

this is a yes or no question!

  • i seems when most people are referring to someone on here as 'sweetie' or 'hun', they are being condescending, or bitchy towards them..usually attempting to correct or scold the person they are talking to.
    i find it humorous.

  • Not really. I live in the south so I am called it almost everyday that it doesn't bother me on here, unless it is in a condescending way.

  • I call people hon sometimes. I'm from KY where its the norm to be called hon. Its not meant to be considered derogatory or said in a negative way. Its actually a sign that I am comfortable with you and care.
