Do you add Fabric Softener?

at the starting of the wash or do you wait to add it to the rinse as the water is drawing back in?

  • My machine has an automatic dispenser. So, I put my softener in it when I start my wash. The rinse cycle releases it when it's time.

  • I have a front loader with dispenser drawer. I add detergent and softener at the beginning.

  • I don't use fabric softener these days, but when I did, I just used dryer sheets. I've thought about those spiky balls in the dryer too.
