Need some help with this one

My friends have graciously offered to throw me a baby shower. This is my second child within a couple years and bothe being boys. I need absolutely nothing for this baby. I still have unopened things from the first baby. How do you word that gifts are no expected or needed. Thank you for your help

  • You could also suggest that everyone bring a favorite book instead of traditional gifts.

  • What about requesting meals or a donation to your favorite charity. People generally feel they need to bring something.

  • I went to both baby and bridal showers...that had "monetary donations only" stated in the invitation.

  • How about a diaper party? Ask people to bring diapers of all sizes. A friend of mine did that. I also like the book idea.
