For help with sleep for you or for a baby or child, I would recommend either body wash or a spray with lavender, or a sachet with lavender. I use a lavender spray on my pillow, and it works great. I also used a lavender body wash on my son when he was a baby, and I swear that it helped him to sleep!
For stress relief for a mom, which would also help with sleep, try the sleepytime extra tea by celestial seasonsings with valerian. It didn't make me sleepy, but the valerian root leaves me very relaxed. Of course, try it out when you don't have to drive, and I wouldn't use it if you are pregnant or BF'ing.
