CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS ONE

I JUST FIND OUT THAT I'M HAVING MY 1st SON AND WOULD LIKE TO NAME HIM AFTER HIS DAD.

BUT THE THING IS MY SON WOULD BE THE III CAUSE MY HUBBY IS THE JR.. BUT WE JUST FIND OUT THAT MY HUBBY FATHER HAVE A SON WITH HIS WIFE AND SHE NAME HIM A JR TOO.. ( MY HUBBY DAD WAS NOT IN HIS LIFE LIKE THAT)

SO MY QUESTION IS HOW WOULD THIS WORK IF THERE IS 2 JR AND SHOULD I STILL NAME MY SON AFTER MY HUBBY???

  • I sure would stick with your plan, that's kind of weird for DH dad to name two kids the same thing lol

  • That's a lot of people with the same name. What if he got his own first name and his daddy's first name as his middle name? or do a switch of hubby's name. Name the son (dad's middle name) (dad's first name)

  • What is his dad's name? I would give him his dads first name as a middle name, or just keep the middle name the same but make him name unique somehow. You could also give him a different form of his dads name..ex my friend is Lisa and her dd is Alissa.

  • I would give him his own name or use as a middle name. One thing I have heard is that JR's often feel like that have to live "up to" to their name. If you know what I mean
